Apps for Samsung Fame

Description

Here's a new smartphone that is shaping up like a decent entry-level Android offering. It is known as the Samsung Galaxy Fame. Dressed in pearl white or metallic blue, the handset comes with unimpressive, yet passable hardware specs and Android 4.1 with Samsung's nature-inspired interface on top, so all the device now needs is a reasonable price tag. It has a 3.5-inch HVGA TFT screen, 512MB of RAM, and a 1GHz processor of unspecified make and model. There's a 5MP auto-focus camera on its back paired with an LED flash, and a front-facing camera is located above its screen. Other notable specs include a smallish 1,300mAh battery and measly 4GB of storage, which can be expanded with the use of a microSD card. The handset weighs 120 grams, has a thickness of 11,6 millimeters, and will come in NFC flavor as well. Out of the box, the Samsung Galaxy Fame will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with a handful of UI tweaks added, courtesy of the smartphone's maker. These include motion gestures, such as a shake to refresh information displayed on all active widgets and flipping the device face-down in order to mute an incoming call.

I have the galaxy s7 edge and my phone goes black when I try to record. After I'm done recording the buttons at the bottom to post the story disappear. I have to close the app in order to use snapchat. After it gets fixed I'll rate 5 stars

  • Gesture Lock Screen

Really , really great app. Best custom lock screen on the app store probably. One thing though , I wish there was a setting option to make it a system app so that it'd start and perform instantly as the phone reboots. It takes a bit time on reboot to start up , leaving your phone preotected by the default lock for a few moments . Cheers :)

  • Opera Mini - fast web browser

Literally the only reason I use this is for ad blocking... But the accuracy is peanuts compared to desktop versions.

The game is beautiful and runs well. Unfortunately, the developer decided to go with swipe controls, which works in some games... but not this one. Instead of immediate response time, you end up doing what you want approximately 2/3 of the time, if that, as the game decides whether or not to listen to you on a mysterious algorithm that I have no idea about. TL;DR: Don't play this on a large screen, since it won't control as you want it to.

Realastic? Really? a small plane has the same speed as a JET FIGHTER? wow. Also why when the plane runs out of fuel it changes to a helicopter?

  • Truck Driver 3D: Offroad

It worked fine when I first used it but after that I couldn't even use story or free ride. What's the point in having a driving game if I can't drive in it!!!
